Alberto Smith, President of the Club Rotario Bavaro Punta Cana receives our donation for 2012/2013

April 10th 2012 PJT and his wife Dolores made two drop offs.
The first was at La Cieba, an elementary school near Macao (600 students), about 4 miles inland from the beach.
The other was at the home of a dear friend, Yolanda Martinez, she is a retired nurse who assists at a day care center for toddlers. She will separate the materials and deliver age appropriate supplies to the day care. The other utilities she will bring to the public schools in Higuey.

Sharon and Richard, It was great to meet with you yesterday and again thank you on the behalf of Club Rotario Punta Cana - Bavaro and Beyond The Beach Children's Foundation for the two suitcases full of donations. They will find their way to those deserving.

Doug and Anne Milander; Chuck and Grace Arlauski;
due to your kindness we had the pleasure to deliver your medical donations to the The Clinica Rural El Salado nearby to Macao.
The El Salado Clinic is a government funded public health clinic and as such there is much need and little resources.
Dr. Rosi Cabrera the chief medical officer was surprised and pleased with your generousity.
We have to acknowledge the collaboration of Beyond the Beach Children's Foundation, Club Rotario Punta Cana - Bavaro
and you helped make this possible.

Donations from Florida October 2011

Sam is a young lady who lives in Florida and contacted us awhile ago. She had traveled to Punta Cana with her parents and was struck with the educational needs of the children of the Dominican Republic. Upon returning to her home, she wrote an essay about the children and her desire to help them. The essay was read by an executive of Office Depot - they were in the process of opening a new store in Santo Domingo, DR and felt that Sam deserved a donation to the charity of her choice. We are happy to say that she chose Beyond the Beach Children's Foundation. She also contacted the Hard Rock Hotel in Punta Cana (where they had stayed) and, they donated a week at their hotel - Sam sold raffle tickets and raised more money. The draw was held at Miller's Ale House during which time, more donations were made. This afternoon, Sam and her family gave Beyond the Beach $4,435!!!!!! Thank you so much Sam... your donations will go a long way to helping the children of the Dominican Republic!!
